I'm no expert on marketing, but it seems likely that ParkinSong Volume One: 38 Songs of Hope [Ryko Distribution (2004), 2-CD], a benefit for Parkinson's Disease research, could have been released as two singles for greater profit with talent to spare. It's impossible to pass up on a laundry list of this impressive collection of singer/songwriters: Greg Brown ,Bonnie Raitt, Eliza Gilkyson, Dave Alvin, Tom Russell, Lucy Kaplansky, Dar Williams ,Crosby and Nash .The list does go on, and it's a nearly irresistible draw.
